Homogeneous Clifford structures
We give an upper bound for the rank r of homogeneous (even) Clifford structures on compact manifolds of non-vanishing Euler characteristic. More precisely, we show that if r = 2 · b with b odd, then r ≤ 9 for a = 0, r ≤ 10 for a = 1, r ≤ 12 for a = 2 and r ≤ 16 for a ≥ 3. Moreover, we describe the four limiting cases and show that there is exactly one solution in each case. 2010 Mathematics Sub...

متن کاملOn 5-dimensional 2-step homogeneous randers nilmanifolds of Douglas type
In this paper we first obtain the non-Riemannian Randers metrics of Douglas type on two-step homogeneous nilmanifolds of dimension five. Then we explicitly give the flag curvature formulae and the $S$-curvature formulae for the Randers metrics of Douglas type on these spaces. Moreover, we prove that the only simply connected five-dimensional two-step homogeneous Randers nilmanifolds of D...
متن کاملDecoupling of Translations from Homogeneous Transformations in Inhomogeneous Quantum Groups∗
We briefly report on our result that, if there exists a realization of a Hopf algebra H in a H-module algebra A, then their cross-product is equal to the product of A itself with a subalgebra isomorphic to H and commuting with A. We illustrate its application to the Euclidean quantum groups in N ≥ 3 dimensions.
متن کاملHomogeneous Geodesics of Left Invariant Randers Metrics on a Three-Dimensional Lie Group
In this paper we study homogeneous geodesics in a three-dimensional connected Lie group G equipped with a left invariant Randers metric and investigates the set of all homogeneous geodesics. We show that there is a three-dimensional unimodular Lie group with a left invariant non-Berwaldian Randers metric which admits exactly one homogeneous geodesic through the identity element. Mathematics Sub...
